Providing educational opportunities to the youth of rural East Tibet.
Despite more than 1,300 years of iconic literary history, Tibet now has the highest rate of illiteracy in all of China. On top of that, Tibet has the lowest amount of educational spending per household and by far the least amount of schools. The barriers to education are tremendous. Our mission is to overcome these barriers, preparing the youth of East Tibet for their bright futures while preserving their unique cultural heritage.
