Since 2011, we have provided educational support to over 300 youth & young adults in Dege, Kham, East Tibet & across the Tibetan Diaspora.

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide educational support to underserved Tibetan youth deep in rural East Tibet, known as Kham in the Tibetan language, and throughout the Tibetan diaspora. The goal of this project is to preserve our unique cultural heritage while preparing our children for their bright future in harmonious co-existence & mutually-beneficial collaboration with our Chinese neighbors. We believe that investing in the youth is the best investment for our collective future here on planet Earth.

The Buddha Shakyamuni taught that ignorance is the root of suffering & that compassionate education is the only cure. Passing on our understanding & the wisdom of our life experience to our children, we will help them to create a new life for themselves while at the same time preserving their indigenous cultural inheritance—a heritage that they can share with the world for the benefit of all.
