Today was my 6th annual teaching visit as a guest lecturer at Holy Names Academy, a historic all-girls Catholic preparatory school on Capitol Hill here in Seattle. They have been educating & empowering young women since 1880. I shared my life story, then taught them the 10 syllable Green Tara mantra and afterwards we discussed the 6 Perfections. Each of the students identified which of the 6 Perfections they most need in their lives at the moment. I would like to express my gratitude for the Generosity of the academy’s teachers for continuing to invite me to share the Dharma with these exceptional young women & I would like to express my admiration for the student’s Diligence in their studies!
